Stone Coasters - Set of 6

Absolute love these Coasters, I’ve been using them every time I grab a drink. Saves my bench tops from all the usual burn marks and water rings

I was intrigued by these when I first saw them so I had to order a set for home. I currently have several types of coasters at home; cheap cardboard coasters, laminated coasters, fabric coasters and glass coasters. So I have pretty much used many of the types out there. That's why I was interested to see if these interesting coasters lived up to their own claim.When I unpacked them I noticed how much like stone they looked, which was interesting. I was curious to see if the cups would slide acros the surface like glass coasters do, but they do not. The instructions state that you must give them a wipe first with a damp cloth to remove any loose material. Be warned! Do not use your best dish cloth as there is a LOT of dirt when you wipe them as they are compressed earth and recycled paper. Leave them to dry. Then stick on all the little sticky felt pads on each of the coasters. I was a little disappointed that I was unable to take them out of the box and use them straight away and I did not have time originally to follow the instructions. Therefore they stayed in the box for some time until I had time to do what needed to be done.However, these are a nice eco-friendly option to using plastic coasters and the wet cups do not cause the coasters to stick to them like the cardboard ones. They absorb liquid very well. They are interesting shapes which makes them more unique and if you are going to give as a gift, I would suggest prepping them and putting the feet on before you gift/wrap them. Another nice touch was that they include a small round rough sanding pad and instructions so if they get severely stained, you can wash them then sand down the surface so they are as good as new. I can't vouch for how well the stains can be removed as I have not had them for too long, but I imagine this would most likely be the case with a combination of water and sanding down.

If you don't like glass rings left by condensation on your table, these coasters are definitely a great asset to have.The 6 of them are lighter than I expected, as they are made of Diatomaceous earth micxed with recycled paper, which give them sturdiness while being absorbant. I have a shelf in my bathroom made of the same material and water dries instantly.It is suggested to immediately clean them with a vinegar-water mixture if stained with wine or other drinks.Selling at $30 for the set of 6, they are great for any home, but also giftable.

I really like these coasters. They really do their magic and absorb the liquid in seconds!I like the irregular shape and the generous size, these fit even a large mug of coffee!I deducted one star maybe I shouldn’t but I would have really preferred if some feet were already attached to the stones, with some industrial strength glue , rather than me having to glue those little circles on. This is because in my house some big messes happen and sometimes I really have to wash these coasters under lots of water (such as when one of my kids just spilled a super sugary chocolate milk on it…. Soaking the coaster in hot soapy water did make it loose some two of its feet.This is a wonderful product and under normal circumstances I am sure that everything is perfect. The ability of the diatomaceous earth rock to absorb liquid is nothing short of magical and it offers good protection to the furniture underneath.RecommendedThank you

This is a really nice set of Natureeva stone coasters. They are made of graphite, which is a natural stone I believe. It has natural properties that make it absorbent.It does come with a little bit of sandpaper so if it loses, it’s observancy you can give it a light sanding to make it absorbent again.These do look nice and modern, each shape is slightly different so it does look like a natural product. It comes with little stickers to go on the bottom, which are basically a little circular foam pieces. This prevents the coaster from scratching the surface that it’s on.This would make a lovely gift, it’s a really nice product and I highly recommend!

I love these, they absorb water is a mater of seconds and leave the top of the coaster feeling dry. This makes them great for for summer months where cups sweat or for clear tea. They will absorb coloured liquids, coffee, pop, etc and there will be a stain that is tricky to remove, sometimes rinsing works (don't use soap, it will suck it in and stop working) but they've also included a sanding disk which may remove the colour from the top layer.

I love this quick dry stone... all the water just disappears.Kit comes with 6 coasters, little pads for the base, and some sand paper.

I love the natural aesthetic of these stone coasters — the texture and shapes, each one slightly different from the others, really evoke a sense of nature. It’s amazing how this material absorbs moisture like a sponge. I watched as the condensation ring left by my glass was absorbed right before my eyes, leaving the surface completely dry.The coasters arrive in a simple brown box, and each one is carefully wrapped in bubble wrap for protection. Included with the set is a small disk of fine sandpaper to renew the surface or remove any stubborn stains. (Be sure to read the included care instructions before use!) I love diatomite products—they’re practical, durable, and really look beautiful. Made from natural diatomaceous earth, they're really absorbent, quick-drying, and antibacterial (not to mention eco-friendly) so it's a win all around.I hadn't heard of this mineral outside of its use as an insecticide, until I tried a diatomite bath mat from this company. Now we've had it for over a year, and even with constant daily use, it still looks and feels brand new, and does everything it purported to do, so when I found out that the company also sold diatomite coasters, I couldn’t wait to try them!The coasters arrived well-packaged and in perfect condition. They came with small feet to attach to the base—though I’m not sure why they weren’t pre-affixed, it was a minor effort for such a great product. I love that each coaster has a slightly different cut, adding a unique and organic feel to the set.All in all, no complaints whatsoever. Love that even the MOST ice-filled, condensation-covered glass, there's no pooling, ever - the stones just soak it all up (and the glass never gets the coaster stuck on the bottom of it).

It's the right size for any sort of cups. I can finally get rid of my old ones where it only fits small cups and I was constantly worried that my cup will fall over. These stones are cut in a way that no two are alike. It dries instantly. I washed it for the first time and as I get to the sixth one, the first one was already semi dried which is pretty amazing to me. Color is a soft grey and so, it matches with any light or dark tabletops. Comes nicely packed so makes a good gift as well.

These stone coasters are as absorbent as the other Diatomite stones I have used. While the water will absorb quickly enough and not pool on the surface, the overall wet spot does take a little while to completely dissipate. IF the liquid in question is coloured, like wine, or grape juice, then there is going to be a chance of colour seeping into the stone. That is the nature of this item. Overall, this performs and functions as I expected it to.
