Water pooling around your tap leads to bacterial growth, damages benchtops, and requires constant wiping. A stone faucet mat absorbs splashes instantly and dries completely in minutes – protecting surfaces while maintaining the clean aesthetic your kitchen deserves.

Our kitchen faucet stone mat uses naturally absorbent diatomite to manage the moisture that accumulates around sink fixtures without the maintenance burden of fabric alternatives.

Why Your Kitchen Needs a Faucet Stone Mat

Instant Splash Protection

The area surrounding your tap experiences constant water exposure from handwashing, rinsing, and food preparation. A stone drying mat for your kitchen faucet absorbs moisture on contact (up to 150% of its weight), preventing the puddles that damage countertops and encourage bacterial growth.

Quick Drying

Diatomite's microporous structure releases absorbed water through natural air circulation. Your faucet stone drying mat dries completely within minutes, unlike fabric or rubber options that stay damp for hours.

Antibacterial Performance

Prevent moist environments where bacteria, mould, and mildew develop with ease. The material naturally inhibits bacterial colonisation, keeping the high-touch area around your sink genuinely hygienic.

Surface Protection

Hard water stains, soap residue, and constant moisture gradually damage benchtops. A stone faucet mat for kitchen sinks creates a protective barrier that absorbs these elements before they reach your counter.

Minimal Upkeep

Traditional fabric mats around taps require daily washing and develop permanent staining. Your faucet stone mat needs a simple weekly wipe-down and occasional surface refresh with the included sanding tool.

Secure Placement

Ten rubber pads keep the mat stable on wet surfaces. The slim 60cm × 10cm profile fits neatly around most taps without dominating counter space or interfering with daily tasks.

Timeless Design That Ages Elegantly in Australian Homes

The details in your kitchen should outlast trends. A kitchen faucet stone mat in neutral tones and clean geometric patterns maintains visual relevance as styles evolve.

Unlike trend-led accessories, our refined Arch design complements both contemporary and traditional Australian kitchens. The natural stone aesthetic suits renovated period homes as comfortably as new builds.

For open-plan spaces where kitchen details remain constantly visible, this matters. The stone faucet mat sits neatly on your benchtop – functional when needed, visually unobtrusive always.

What's Included with Your Stone Faucet Mat for Kitchen Sink

Each stone faucet mat for the kitchen sink set contains:

  • 1 × Stone Faucet Mat (2 pieces, combined size 60cm × 10cm × 0.9cm, 0.4kg), crafted from natural diatomaceous earth and recycled paper
  • 10 × Non-Slip Rubber Pads for secure placement
  • 1 × Sanding Tool for surface maintenance

The generous length accommodates most sink configurations while the slim width preserves usable counter space.

Available in Graphite, Slate, and Chalk with our signature Arch pattern. Your stone drying mat for kitchen faucet coordinates seamlessly with our dish drying mat and sink caddy collections – creating visual consistency across your home.

Protect Your Benchtops the Smart Way

Leave behind managing constant puddles around your tap. A stone faucet mat absorbs in seconds, dries within minutes, and keeps your surfaces fresh without the hassle.

Upgrade your sink space with a smarter, low-maintenance solution, and experience how thoughtful design simplifies daily living.

An absolute game-changer for my kitchen and my peace of mind!) ★★★★★

I just redid my kitchen look with Natureva and honestly, I couldn't be happier.
I finally ditched my old plastic dish rack. It was so bulky, impossible to clean, and seeing
gross, stagnant water pooling on my counter every day was honestly just killing my vibe.
Replacing it with this diatomaceous faucet mat and the dish mat has been an absolute game-changer. The first
time you place it down and watch the water absorb and vanish instantly, it is so satisfying. No
puddles, no mold, just a super clean setup.
Honestly, having a visually aesthetic, clutter-free kitchen feels amazing for my nervous
system. The space went from a chaotic mess to feeling incredibly calm, minimal, and exactly
how I always wanted it to look. If you are on the fence about upgrading your sink setup, this
is your sign!

Extremely happy

Extremely happy with this mat. Good value and it works. Comes with little rubber feet to stick on if you want so it doesn't move on the bench top.

this stone faucet mat has been such an easy little upgrade. It catches all the water splashes, dries really fast, and keeps my countertop from getting constantly wet. I love that it doesn’t get soggy or gross like fabric mats, and it actually looks nice sitting by the sink. Super low-maintenance, practical, and one of those things that just makes daily life a bit easier.

Love this!

I have only had this item for a few days but I am blown away! Have it on my main kitchen faucet which I constantly had to keep wiping from turning it on and off. I was really doubtful this product would perform as described, but I took a gamble… so happy I did! Water literally starts evaporating the second it touches the stone! Also comes with a little sandpaper for tougher stains (after some wear and tear) as well as little gel stickers so the stones don’t move around everywhere!

Perfect!

Great product. I purchased the darker grey and it’s great. It absorbs the water in seconds, is very clean looking, and fits around the standard kitchen faucet perfectly. I don’t know why I didn’t buy one of these years ago, it has saved my counter and wall behind the faucet so much!

Looks great for a specific kind of single hole faucet...

I expected this to be a great product. I love the drying mats I have made of the same material. They dry almost instantly. What I did not consider was that this design is made for a single faucet with tap controls on a lever. My faucet has water knobs on either side of it, which prevent me from placing the faucet mat where it is disigned to go. I can place it outside the fixture that holds the knobs, but at that point it almost loses its purpose. It still looks nice, though...

Stone Faucet Mat

This is a very beautiful, well made, well thought faucet mat. It's a very functional product but it doesn't fit right if you have a faucet with a base. This is something I didn't think of when I ordered it. It would work perfectly if there was no base to my faucet that is the reason I still give it a 5 stars because the product does what it's supposed to do with the proper faucet.

Looks classy

I used to have a rubber splash tray around my kitchen faucet. Its job was to contain the water that I inevitably would splash all over the place and hopefully direct it back to a more suitable location. IE: The sink. It did the job, but it wasn’t pretty. Enter: The Natureva Home - Stone Faucet Mat. I was today years old when I learned such a thing existed. On a whim I ordered it. I’m really glad I did.First off, make sure you are ordering this for a single handle faucet and check the diameter of your faucet. In order to work properly it must fit snuggly around the faucet. Fortunately, mine did. It seems a bit weird. It’s made of stone and feels kind of fragile. I wouldn’t drop in into the sink if I were you. I’m pretty sure it could break. My first impressions were of “classiness’ or a “clean” look. It really does take things up a notch. It’s hard to explain. Think of it this way: You spend $9000 on a lovely granite or marble countertop, several hundred (or possibly thousands) on a fancy sink with high-end faucets, and then you throw a cheap rubber splash guard on? Why? This is better. The diatomaceous earth stone (that’s kind of fun to say) really does absorb a lot of water very quickly. In fact, it seems to dry almost instantly. As others have pointed out, it does stain if you’re not careful, but it also comes with a small sanding disc that will help remove all but the worst stains. I suspect this is the kind of item that might need to be replaced every few years after it becomes too soiled. For the price, that doesn’t seem horrible. It looks classy. It does what it’s supposed to do, and it’s kind of unique. I like it. Check your sizing and make sure it fits. If it does, go ahead and order it. I think you’ll be impressed.

Quick drying

This stone mat for your countertop is a really nice addition to our kitchen. The water dries really rapidly, it's rather amazing. The stone is quite easy to clean and to maintain as the seller provides an instructions card to ensure your stone mat functions at it's full capacity. I like this mat much better than the silicone ones where mold seems to develop really quickly.

Pretty, absorbent, but a little too small!

Prior to purchasing this faucet mat, I had a sponge-type (all one-piece) mat which was good but a little too wide so it hung over the sink slightly and so I didn't think it looked as nice as it should although the length was perfect. This mat, however, comes in two pieces so it's easy to fit around the faucet. It absorbs well and looks classy. My only complaint is that it isn't quite long enough to cover the whole length of my sink. It may just be my sink but I have about 2" of space from the end of the mat to the end of my sink on each side. So if water gets splashed on either of these two ends the water pools on my counter still. If this was a total of 28" (so each piece 2" longer) this mat would be absolutely perfect, and it would definitely be a 5-star rating with no hesitation from me.

Like magic - Must Have

I have these Diatomite stone mats in most places that have lots of water contact in my house - I was hooked ever since I received my first one. The Natureva Home Diatomite stone mat I received in the grey color, and it has a sort of linear pattern to is which is very subtle. The idea of these trays is that as soon as water hits them, they instantly dry so that water is not sitting in places that it shouldn't be, my kitchen faucet with how shallow it is - water just gets all over the back when doing dishes so these trays are essential to keeping that area dry, I previously had a white one but the lighter colors get pretty dirty fast so I needed to get a darker color that hides the dirt a bit better and this one was perfect and actually goes with my color scheme in my kitchen which is white and grey. This try is made for single faucets only and also make sure to check your diameter of the faucet as if you have a very thick one then it won't fit properly - for me this one doesn't soak up water quite as well as previous ones that I have/had, it takes a while for it to dry and the soak up the water - I'm not sure why but it's a little less absorbent than others. I would also highly suggest reading the simple instructions that come with it and follow them as it provides key instructions to using them originally and then also if they stop absorbing or become dirty in the future, super important.Overall, I am very happy with this one - it looks much better than the white one I had previously, and I think this one actually fits tighter around the faucet which is nice but it's a must have for me and I would absolutely recommend these to anyone.

Pleasantly surprised by the utility of this mat!

Comes in an eco-friendly cardboard box with retail branding. It's made of some combination of stone and fiber and it does exactly as it says - it absorbs water readily which then evaporates very quickly. I wasn't too sure if this would have any utility given it does not sit snugly against the faucet, however in practice it does soak splashes up very effectively. You will be surprised at how many droplets of water get splashed up onto the counter as you use the faucet. I did not apply the non-slip feet as I would like it to make contact with the counter in order to soak up any rogue water that might get under it. Cleaning is easy - just rinse and wipe with the dish sponge or brush. It also gives the faucet area a more finished look which is a bonus - I think it looks better than a rubber mat would. The only feature I wish it had is a way to link the two sides together. It would be very cool if they were designed to overlap each other or were attachable with a small bracket from underneath. But the simplicity of this is also appreciated and it really does tidy up an area that tends to get wet and messy. Great inexpensive upgrade to the counter!

Dries very quickly

Pros:-5 grippy buttons for each to keep it in place and stable on the sink-Fits sinks that have the rounded plate thing around the actual faucet-This dries VERY quickly when water gets on it... which helps keep my sink from getting all those water stains on it-Perfect to hold my scrubbydaddy, dish detergent, and sink stoppers!-Improves the look of my old sinkAt the time of this review, this stone faucet mat was $24.99 and I think that's a fair deal.

Having already enjoyed the quality of Natureva Home Stone products, I decided to add the Stone Faucet Mat to my collection. As expected, it is well-made and thoughtfully designed. The sticky-backed silicone feet keep the mat slightly elevated off the benchtop, allowing it to dry efficiently. What sets this mat apart is its material. Made from Diatomaceous Earth, it quickly absorbs splashes and drips, making them disappear almost instantly. It also comes with a handy sanding pad, so if it gets stained, you can easily restore it to look brand new. This mat is not only practical for keeping your benchtop dry and tidy but also a stylish addition to the sink area.
