Stone Plant Saucers - Set of 2

I like diatomaceous materials due to their amazing ability to absorb liquids. The look solid, but they absorb like a sponge, having drops on them disappear like magic. These are similar in function and they also look very aesthetic. I don't usually overflow and spill when watering plants, but if I do, I would trust these to hold the mess. However, these are usually good with clear water. If you spill colored water, mud, or oil, you might later have a hard time fixing the discoloration.

I've been meaning to review this for awhile but got busy and plain forgot. Then I overwatered my palm today and remembered them immediately. This was the actual reason I got them. It was time to test their efficacy.These are made of a diatomaceous earth, highly absorbent with a sensible neutral grey colour to boot. They absorb any overspill quite quickly and moreso, evaporate very quickly too. Plants on carpets would be an excellent reason to have them.In my test I absolutely flooded the large pot, purposely spilling it beyond the plates ability to absorb, and I actually recommend doing this to gauge how effective they will be, particularly if your plant is on carpet or a nice rug/mat. I recieved a small and large plate and both have performed as they state.Easy recommend, as long as you remember there is a limit, as fluid physics dictate, so don't expect miracles if you should overwater by too much.

These stone trays are a really nice alternative to the cheap clear trays I have been using. Made of natural diatomaceous earth, these saucers are super absorbent and quick-drying. The saucers come in a set with one large and one small drip tray, and they do an excellent job of absorbing small to medium spills, but larger spills can seep over the tray. I can't say enough about how nice they look. The color is a beautiful grey stone with a natural swerve shape. I am so pleased with the aesthetics and functionality of these saucers that I will likely be switching more of my trays to these.
