Stone Plant Saucers - Set of 2

I've been meaning to review this for awhile but got busy and plain forgot. Then I overwatered my palm today and remembered them immediately. This was the actual reason I got them. It was time to test their efficacy.These are made of a diatomaceous earth, highly absorbent with a sensible neutral grey colour to boot. They absorb any overspill quite quickly and moreso, evaporate very quickly too. Plants on carpets would be an excellent reason to have them.In my test I absolutely flooded the large pot, purposely spilling it beyond the plates ability to absorb, and I actually recommend doing this to gauge how effective they will be, particularly if your plant is on carpet or a nice rug/mat. I recieved a small and large plate and both have performed as they state.Easy recommend, as long as you remember there is a limit, as fluid physics dictate, so don't expect miracles if you should overwater by too much.

While these stone mats are intended to be used as plant saucers and I have no doubt they would serve that purpose well, I've found a different use for them. I have a lot of items near the bathroom sink that get washed and it's really nice to place them on this so it can dry and evaporate with leaving the counter wet or with dry water stains. The size of the smaller one is perfect for this task and I place my toothbrush, razor, and other small objects on it to dry after use and it works so perfectly. I've tried numerous Natureva products so far and I'm impressed each time because they really do dry very quickly.

Good quality saucers! Perfect for my indoor plants, came in two good sizes saucers. They look modern and goes well with any home decor. These are not lightweight saucers but they're indeed sturdy and durable 👍🏻

The stone saucer is sleek and minimalist and large for any pot and décor style. It is made of super-absorbent material quickly soaks up excess water, preventing spills and protecting surfaces from moisture damage. The quick-drying design ensures it stays clean and odor-free, even with regular use. I not worried about keeping spills away from my indoor plants. It is very convenient and stylish.

I got this as a base for the bottom. It comes with five base circles each to protect the bottom and has a sander to smooth it out. The instructions to take care of it is really clear which is nice. It fits my giant pot and there's a smaller one too.

My son's partner recently bought me a small cactus plant, and in my efforts to keep it alive I've been letting it dry out a bit between waterings. When I do water it, the water pours right through the pot. I had a plastic dish under it but it doesn't look nice.This set of two plant saucers is ideal. They absorb quite a bit of water and look a lot more attractive than a plastic saucer. It just looks like a stone pad that it's sitting on. The small one works for now but I think my little cactus might need to be repotted so I'll soon be digging out a larger pot that will hopefully fit on the large size mat.I'm quite pleased with these, they look good and absorb a lot of liquid. I would order these again.

They both came on one piece and included foam adhesive pads to help keep them from sliding around on whatever surface you decide to place them on. They absorb water very quickly, though keep in mind it'll still take time to allow all the water to evaporate if you spill a bunch on it. The smaller one of the pair I got had an odd little lip on the bottom, though I expect the manufacturer included a bit of sandpaper, I assume in the case of any imperfections such as I noted.Overall it's a nice pair of DE mats for your plants, though a tad bit on the pricy side.

These planter stands are made out of shredded paper and diatomaceous earth. the paper probably helps with the absorption speed and distributing the water throughout the center of the mat. They draw in water fairly well, I poured quite a large amount of water (2 oz) and it absorbed it pretty quickly, it's kind of fun to watch. They do come with a sandpaper disk for deep cleaning/maintenance.

Each saucer has a grey colour and textured face along with a runoff groove for access moisture.The saucers come in a unique shape which in my opinion enhances the aesthetics of each.Each sauce is just over 1cm in thickness and when put on the scale are quite light especially given what I was expecting - I have similarly sized food plates which are heavier.The main feature of these saucers is their ability to absorb moisture, and to do so quite quickly. In my video I give a brief demonstration of the speed and capacity of the saucers to absorb water which is what will be the main type of moisture expected in a normal application.What I found is that the saucers perform quite well in absorbing MOST moisture (water) within seconds but it really takes some time for 100% of the moisture to be absorbed, several minutes in fact which is why I did not keep the video recording.The runoff grooves are there because it is possible to overwhelm these saucers with moisture in a wet environment- these will not be able to absorb rainfall for example.These saucers will be most ideal in circumstances where there is a slight amount of excess drip from a plant and I have found they have done a great job in such an environment.As far as maintenance goes, there is some work involved. These are not simply saucers which can be left alone after being deployed, and do require some sanding and some cleaning, however, the level of maintenance involved for these is probably no more than anything else that I own, but given the attractive quality of these saucers I would certainly prefer them over what I have.Overall, these saucers work quite well in absorbing most moisture quite quickly and are certainly a small detail that sometimes gets overlooked in the aesthetics of a household, but they do work well. They also come with felt pads to be stuck on the bottom so that the stone does not scratch or scrape any smooth surfaces as well as allowing ambient airflow.Pretty good value and eye catching alternatives to plastic dishes for sure!Cheers,

Handy little things these are! Quite large. Keep in mind you still need a drip tray or saucer for your plants, this is not a substitute. Took me forever to get the adhesive backs off the stickers. Use tweezers or have very strong nails. I didn't break a nail, luckily.

These saucers are surprisingly large and hold a number of plants. They look nice, with a lip around the outside to catch runoff.I'm a big fan of stone mats in general and these work well. The claim that they dry in seconds is a bit exaggerated, but I overwatered a pot and the overflow dried up in 2-3 minutes.

These two little saucers are exactly as described. They look very nice and come with little felt circles you can stick under them so you don't scratch you furniture. My top tip is to take the adhesive backs off with a pair of tweezers. I broke a few nails before I worked it out. Definitely a very attractive way to protect the top of your wooden furniture from any moisture. And a nice earthy looking tray for household items as well.

These have honestly changed how I keep my indoor plants. Any runoff from watering just disappears into the saucer instead of pooling underneath, so no more water rings on my shelves or soggy pot bottoms. The two sizes cover both my big floor plant and my smaller pots, and the stone look blends in with everything. Simple upgrade, so much tidier.

Stylish plant saucers that absorb excess water!

I use those saucers for my kitchen utensils, look so sleek. Work great and keep my surfaces clean.

I dont know why I put up with plastic saucers for so long. They always cracked or went yellow and looked cheap under nice pots. These look premium, they actually absorb water instead of just collecting it, and they match my other Natureva products. Got them under my Rubber Plant and Devils Ivy. Perfect.

I have a big Monstera in a terracotta pot and no matter what plastic saucer I used underneath water would end up on the floorboards. Noticed a stain forming and panicked. Switched to the Natureva stone saucer and the difference is huge. The runoff gets absorbed into the stone and dries out completely between waterings. Wish I found these sooner.

Got the set for my Fiddle Leaf Fig and a Peace Lily. Large one under the fig, small one under the lily. Both fit perfect. They catch all the drainage and dry out fast. No more ugly plastic trays. The Graphite colour looks really elegent against the green foliage.
